What Customers Say About Virtua Tennis 3:

I've yet to come across a tennis video game that has great or even good, realistic game play and Virtua Tennis 3 is no different. The mini games are all fun, the World Tour mode is solid and it can be surprisingly addicting. All you have to do is hold your serve and you win the match.

You can hit a 135 mph serve up the middle and the computer slap it down the baseline for a return winner or at least to put you on the defensive. That and the lack of stock players available for the game, you play the same guys over and over again only they get remarkably better over night. Simply put, there are virtually no unforced errors, way too easy to lay out and dive for a shot and get it back no problem (multiple times per point) and no matter how good of a server you're playing with and how well you hit the serves and place, it's impossible to dominate with your serve.

Pretty stupid if you ask me. This happens way too much. Some other quibbles with the game, in World Tour mode in every tournament you get to serve first and you don't have to win the set by 2.

With that said, if you're not expecting much in the gameplay/realistic simulation aspect, this is a very fun game. Before you know it you've been playing for a couple hours.

Training games are very good and entertaining and the Academy introduction really adds a little extra to the whole experience. The addition of being able to play more sets and any combination of games-per-set (including tie break) makes it just a lot better.Plaing the King is a real pain but thats just my lack of skills hehe. I've really had a lot of fun with this game, am a big fan of the first release and can see an amazing improvement overall in it. Still a couple of flaws like in a scenario a building from the background breaks, and visual details like that, more important one is the gameplay, at first you see really lame shots and it tends to be just too unreal but as your World Tour character improves you start getting a better show, players dive less and its just more believable. Still you can play it without the world tour character for a quick fun or build up a champion, Ive managed to get it almost perfect but the latest experience points are very hard to get -> You get stats for Serve (Speed and Control), Ground Strokes (backhand and forehand and power, angle and control), footwork and volley (others that I cant recall right now).Final word, for the price it has, this game is a bargain. you wont be disappointed :)

this game does have good graphic the gameplay is smooth, but it is way too easy, to easy to the point that I, the first time playing the game, did not lose a point, then I continued to move up in skill level, nothing changed. I beat everyone, at every skill level without losing a single point. I like realistic game, this is not one, so that is why I would not recommend it if you like challenges, you just won't get one here.

fun way to kill some time.plus you can customize ur own character and rackets and sneakers.etc. Either way theres this one guy I can't beat. WHY. Just glad I got my money's worth in this game rather than wasting more at the arcade.

I wish this scale had 0 stars because this game is a complete waste of resources. I bought this game thinking it would be good but I was thinking wrong. I played Virtua Tennis on the XBOX and PS2 and they were good games. The players play styles doesn't match. I also should mention that the game is a dark. However on this PSP the game is a complete letdown.

If your going to buy this game please don't. Let me just say that this game stinks real bad. I watch tennis and know the players styles so I know what I'm talking about. I don't know if it's just me but during points this game will flicker a bit. Also the players look completly fake. If you really want a good tennis game for the PSP get "Smash Court Tennis 3" as it puts this Virtua Tennis to shame.

I just don't like this game at all.
